Acting floor manager (32 hours)

Unique location

Who does not know it, the 35-meter high, giant human body along the A44 in Oegstgeest, near Leiden. Here every day hundreds of visitors, young and old, discover the wonders of the human body during the spectacular ''Journey Through the Human Body''. There is also a large multifunctional and impressive congress center, where all kinds of events and congresses take place. The two together form a special and challenging workplace.

Job Description

As Acting Floor Manager you are the business card of CORPUS and you are (jointly) responsible for the smooth running of all activities on the floor. You are committed to the total experience of our visitors! Depending on your shift, you will ensure that the start of the "journey through mankind" runs smoothly or you will be the person who closes the building at the end of the day. You are also regularly deployable as an operational employee for the guidance of our guests. You will work together with the various departments such as facilities, CORPUS catering and the CORPUS Congress Centre.

Your challenge is to work with your team by ensuring the optimal guest experience with the best service and in the most efficient way possible. Your day is only complete when visitors and clients leave the premises with a big smile.

What we ask

• You are service-oriented; the visitor and/or client are always number one with you;
• Preferably you have relevant work experience, but you can also join us as an up-and-coming talent;
• MBO+ working and thinking level;
• You possess leadership qualities, are stress resistant and have communication skills;
• Working weekends and evenings in alternating shifts is not a problem for you;
• Good oral command of the Dutch and English languages;
• Flexible, accurate with an eye for detail;
• People manager who gets wings from working in a team.
