MBO

What’s going on inside your body? Why is it important to take good care of it? And what does eating responsibly mean in everyday life? Take your students on a journey inside the human body at CORPUS. A school visit that encourages students to reflect on themselves.

During the 55-minute “journey,” lessons about the human body literally come to life. Students get to see the body from the inside out. They breathe along with the lungs and observe how a nerve impulse is transmitted in a fraction of a second. In this way, they marvel at everything their bodies do, day and night.

A visit to CORPUS ties in with the required course on Citizenship, specifically the “Active Citizenship” component. Students reflect on their own lifestyle and vitality—not from a textbook, but from within. It creates a different dynamic than a typical class—one that really sticks with them.

School Trip: A Journey Through the Human Body

following your vocational training

For students in Health & Welfare and Sports & Exercise, knowledge of the human body is essential. Organs, muscles, respiration, and movement play a significant role in their future field of work. During a visit to CORPUS, students see how that knowledge comes together in a single body. What initially seems like disconnected course material takes on a cohesive whole. This gives theory meaning within their program and their future field of work. A fitting choice for a career-oriented field trip within your vocational education program.
