Are you hospitable, a strong communicator, and does interacting with visitors energize you? For CORPUS “journey through the human body,” we’re looking for an enthusiastic front desk/cashier to give visitors a warm welcome and ensure a professional start to their visit. As the first point of contact at the entrance, cash register, and information desk, you’ll play an important role in our visitors’ experience.
CORPUS is a unique and interactive experience where visitors learn about the human body in a special way. In this visitor-focused environment, you’ll contribute every day to a warm, clear, and smoothly organized visitor experience.
What you will do
- You welcome visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- You will be responsible for ticket sales, reservations, admission control, and cashier duties.
- You provide visitors with information about opening hours, tickets, facilities, and “the journey through the human body.”
- You will guide the flow of visitors at the entrance and help ensure an orderly and welcoming reception.
- You communicate promptly with colleagues and supervisors when there are any issues or questions.
What we ask
- You have experience in a customer-focused role, such as in hospitality, reception, customer service, retail, or public service.
- You have a good command of both Dutch and English; knowledge of a third language is a plus.
- You work accurately and carefully, especially when handling cash register, reservation, and administrative tasks.
- You have a professional demeanor, are service-oriented, have strong communication skills, and remain calm during busy times.
- You are flexible in terms of availability, including weekends, holidays, and school breaks.
- You have an affinity for educational, museum, and public-facing environments.

Working in a unique location
Who hasn’t seen it: the 35-meter-tall, giant human body along the A44 in Oegstgeest. Every year, hundreds of thousands of visitors, young and old, discover the wonders of the human body here during the spectacular “Journey Through the Human Body.” In addition, there is a large, multifunctional, and impressive conference center that hosts all kinds of events and conferences. Together, the two form a unique and challenging workplace.
