Looking for a varied job in a great, enthusiastic team? Prefer flexible working hours. And does it appeal to you to work in a place that everyone knows? Then we are looking for you!

What you will do

You will be working as a team member in operations. When the situation calls for it—for example, during peak times or emergencies—you may also be temporarily assigned to serve as an acting floor manager.

As an operations staff member, you are an important point of contact for our visitors and actively contribute to a welcoming, safe, and well-organized experience at CORPUS. You’ll guide guests during their visit, help ensure the smooth flow of the “journey through the human body,” and make sure visitors feel welcome and well taken care of. You’ll work closely with colleagues on the floor and with various departments, such as Facilities and Food & Beverage, both within CORPUS’s “journey through the human body” and at the CORPUS Congress Center.

When necessary, you will temporarily take on additional responsibilities as an acting floor manager. In that role, you will help maintain an overview of the floor, assist with coordinating tasks, and contribute to ensuring that the day runs efficiently and professionally.

Your challenge is to use your operational role to help provide the best possible service and an optimal guest experience. By staying alert, collaborating effectively, and offering practical solutions, you’ll ensure that visitors and clients leave the premises with a positive impression.

What we ask

  • You are service-oriented; the visitor and/or client always come first for you.
  • Ideally, you’ll have relevant work experience, but even as an up-and-coming talent, you can join our team.
  • MBO+ level of work and thinking.
  • You possess leadership qualities, can handle stress well, and have strong communication skills.
  • Working on weekends and in the evenings on rotating shifts is no problem for you.
  • Good oral command of Dutch and English.
  • Flexible, accurate with an eye for detail.
  • People manager who gets wings from working in a team.

What we offer

  • Working in a unique, inspiring location where no two days are the same.
  • Enjoy working in a fun, friendly, and motivated team where everyone is there for one another.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Plenty of space to just be yourself.
  • A hands-on job alongside enthusiastic coworkers.
  • And of course we offer you a salary appropriate to your knowledge and experience, and a good pension plan.

Working in a unique location

Who hasn’t heard of it—the 35-meter-tall, giant human body along the A44 in Oegstgeest, near Leiden? Every day, hundreds of visitors, young and old, discover the wonders of the human body here during the spectacular “journey through the human body.” In addition, there is a large, multifunctional, and impressive conference center where all kinds of events and conferences take place. Together, these two elements create a unique and challenging workplace.

Working at CORPUS is mainly about cooperation and variety. We help each other where necessary and are willing to go the extra mile for each other. With a large team, you are the calling card for CORPUS and your day is only successful when the visitors and clients leave the building with a big smile.
