Your job
As Manager Marketing, Sales & Communications, you will be responsible for developing and implementing (or having implemented) all marketing, sales and communications plans for our two business units: CORPUS "journey through man" and the CORPUS Congress Centre. You will put CORPUS on the (inter)national map because you know how to make marketing campaigns a success, together with a dedicated team. And you are keen to increase the name awareness of CORPUS nationally and internationally.
CORPUS considers hospitality of paramount importance. As Manager Marketing, Sales & Communications, you will realize a growing flow of visitors who will experience a unique experience with us. You will maintain contact with various educational institutions, tour operators, conference organizations, etc. You are also frequently involved in the realization of joint promotions and promotional activities.
You know how to put the CORPUS brand in the (international) market by applying the right marketing strategy and with your existing network and experience, tap into new creative opportunities to grow both the attraction/experience and the CORPUS Congress Centre.
In addition to the unique concept that CORPUS "journey through man" has to offer, the CORPUS Congress Centre is ideally suited for large congresses and events. In collaboration with the Manager of Congresses and Events, you will know how to bring this to the attention of the business market. In addition, you and your team will be regionally active in PR and sponsorship activities, particularly within the municipalities of Oegstgeest, Leiden and Katwijk. You maintain and expand your (marketing) network and maintain all contacts within it.
Your team
You lead and know how to motivate and manage a highly engaged team (including interns). You are part of and work closely with the Management Team. You report to the CEO. Together with the Management Team you are one face to all employees.
What do you bring?
You are an experienced and inspiring manager who possesses:
- HBO working and thinking level;
- A completed degree in Marketing, Commercial Economics, Higher Hotel School or Tourism;
- Minimum of two years relevant work experience in a marketing and sales oriented position in the entertainment industry or convention centers;
- Minimum of two years of leadership experience;
- Creativity and experience related to promotional campaigns, marketing and corporate communications;
- Extensive knowledge within online and offline marketing;
- Editorial and communication skills;
- Experience with Microsoft Office package;
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing.
Furthermore, you are organization sensitive, entrepreneurial, service oriented, flexible, communicatively strong, focused on cooperation and a real connector! Living in the Hague/Leiden area is a plus. The position is for an average of 32-40 hours per week.
