CORPUS and the environment

One of CORPUS’ most important objectives is sustainability and protecting the environment. Controlling the environmental impact and limiting environmental risks are important responsibilities for both management and employees.

Care for the environment is a structural part of and is consistent with the other company objectives. All employees strive to carry out their work in accordance with the established procedures and the associated company policy. Moreover, we always considered it our duty to ‘take care of our environmental impact'.

The environmental policy of CORPUS can be described as follows:
CORPUS conducts its business in such a way as to protect the environment and safeguard the health and safety of its employees, visitors, suppliers and other stakeholders.

In order to realise our policy, CORPUS observes the following rules:

  • Everyone is expected to recognise the importance of the environment
  • CORPUS complies with environmental laws and regulations
  • All employees are informed and given the opportunity to suggest improvements on environment-related issues
  • CORPUS consistently measures its progress in regard to environmental performance through a monitoring programme

Finally, as a consequence of the policy, CORPUS aims to minimise the production of (residual) waste. This is one of the ways in which an adverse impact on the air, water and soil is avoided as much as possible. An effective environmental care system safeguards the above ambition and policy! At the end of 2013, CORPUS created the possibility for recharging electric vehicles. In addition to Green Key certification, this facility is a concrete result of the policy.
